Coolsculpting
The coolsculpting device is manufactured by Zeltiq and is made in the United States.
Coolsculpting works by delivering controlled cooling temperature using different sizes of applicators. There are different sizes of applicators which are exclusively made to treat different common problem areas, mainly belly, flanks, thighs, arms, etc.
The coolsculpting procedure safely delivers precisely controlled cooling to gently and effectively target the fat cells underneath the skin. Treated fat cells are frozen and eventually die. Over time, the body naturally processes the frozen fat and eliminated these dead cells.
How is Coolsculpting done?
Treatment usually begins with placing gel and the applicator in the target area.
Is Coolsculpting painful?
The applicator has some suction effect that may cause mild tugging and pinching feeling.
The applicator freezes and permanently damages fat cells by delivering cold temperatures of 4 degrees celcius, without harming blood or other cells. The freezing may cause some numbing effect around the treated area.
Mild massage around the area can be done by the therapist after the whole procedure is done.
Zeltiq Coolsculpting results usually take about 60-90 days to be noticeable. This is the time taken for your body to metabolize the dead fat cells.
LIPOSONIX

Liposonix treatments use high-intensity focused ultrasound to non-invasively get rid of targeted fat around your waistline without surgery. Ultrasound energy can be used to penetrate the skin layers into the targeted fat tissues without harming skin or surrounding tissue.
During treatment, patients may feel some discomfort, cold, prickling, tingling or warmth. Some redness around the treated areas is common.
Results are typically visible within 8-12 weeks.
Liposonix is not a replacement of healthy lifestyle and exercise. It is best used as supplementary treatment to get rid of that last inch and hit your personal shape goals once you are close to your ideal shape.
